Research within the Discipline of Surgery

The research opportunities in the Discipline of Surgery are extensive with well-established research facilities and programs in each of our Clinical Schools. Research projects encompassing all surgical specialties range from basic scientific laboratory research through to clinical research, and can be undertaken as Honours projects for Sydney Medical Program students through to postgraduate research programs for Masters and PhD students.
