Discipline of Surgery

The Discipline of Surgery is the largest academic surgical department in Australasia.  Units of the Discipline are established at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Nepean Hospital and the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.  The Discipline is at the forefront of research and clinical studies in a wide range of surgical specialties.
